Es ging beim Fotowettbewerb von Digital Living ja nicht nur ums Einheimsen der Preise, sondern auch ums Betrachten schöner Bilder. Und davon hat es in den mehr als 850 Einsendungen zum Thema «Weg vom Weg» genug. Wir sind beeindruckt vom Niveau der Fotografien. 99 der bisherigen Kandidaten haben wir herausgepickt und servieren sie in nebenstehender Bildergalerie.

*Green gestures like this oughta appease Indians when they realize that their
Himalayan glaciers have melted and the sacred Ganges is drier than a bone.
“We didn’t slow our carbon emissions, but we slowed our RISE in carbon emissions!
The Ganges is bound to understand our good intentions!”

HTC Touch Pro2 mit 3,6-Zoll-Touchscreen und ausziehbarer Tastatur

Das Smartphone HTC Touch Pro2 hat einen 3,6-Zoll-Touchscreen mit verstellbarer Abwinkelung und eine ausziehbare fünfreihige QWERTZ-Tastatur. Für die schnelle Internetverbindung sorgen HSDPA und WLAN nach dem Standard 802.11 b/g. Das HTC Touch Pro2 läuft momentan mit Windows Mobile 6.1, kann aber bei Erscheinen der Version 6.5 aktualisiert werden. Das Smartphone soll sich besonders gut für Telefonkonferenzen eignen – dank hervorragender Sprachaufnahme und Wiedergabe im Freisprechmodus sowie einfacher Zuschaltung. Die integrierte Kamera hat 3,2 Megapixel. Eine zweite Kamera mit VGA-Auflösung dient der Live-Übertragung. Auch ins Gerät integriert ist ein GPS.

Das Gerät ist ab sofort erhältlich. Der empfohlene Verkaufspreis beträgt 899 Franken.
